2.5D Combat In Our game


  Hello! 

 I wanted to talk about something very prevalent in our game: The stance switch / linear shift.

 The stance switch mechanic is basically  "Anything Goes" version of jump and also a form of a  parry.

 In the game, you can block an incoming attack, but if the opponent walks forward, they will go around your "block stance" and hit you. That seems harsh, so you can hit them while they move to cause extra damage.

 As you can imagine, this replaces regular jumps and parries.
